Trench Bowie
Trench Bowie – Rugged Foam Knife
The Trench Bowie is a weapon that looks like it’s already seen a lifetime of battles. Inspired by the trench knives of World War I, it combines the crude, functional lines of a Bowie knife with the raw intimidation of a knuckle-duster grip. It’s the kind of blade you’d expect to find in the hand of a mercenary, scavenger, or soldier scraping by on grit and instinct.
Unique design
At 46 cm total length, it’s small enough to carry everywhere yet big enough to make an impression. The clip-point foam blade with a sawback edge adds grit and character without compromising safety. The handle mimics aged wood wrapped in distressed brass, while the four molded finger holes give it a bold, intimidating profile.
Perfect for many settings
The Trench Bowie feels right at home in post-apocalyptic ruins, dark fantasy realms, steampunk airships, or dystopian city streets. Whether you’re a bounty hunter with a grudge, a rogue who loves practical steel, or a grunt soldier surviving on determination alone – this dagger adds depth to your arsenal.
Safe & durable
Beneath its rugged look, the Trench Bowie is completely LARP-safe. Made from closed-cell foam over a reinforced core with a latex-free coating, it can handle the bumps, scrapes, and chaos of close-quarter combat. The faux patina on the “brass” and the subtle wood texture finish deliver realism worthy of Epic Armoury.

Everyone wants for their weapons to serve as long as possible.
Nothing can describe how to maintain
Remember that most of the damage is done due to the lack of maintenance and bad storage.
-
Store your latex weapons flat or standing on their pommel - NEVER on the thrust (this will cause damage to the tip of the weapon, that’s not refunded)
-
Use a barrier made of paper or a towel to guard your weapon in contact with other plastic or rubber surface, so they won’t stick together.
-
Keep your weapon in a cool, dry area.
-
Avoid long time exposure to sunlight and don’t transport your weapons on top of your car luggage.
-
Remember about the maintenance, sprays work best for that.
