“Willi” Green Cabbage – a foam prop that adds instant camp-kitchen credibility

Foam white cabbage is no dull side dish—it’s a scene-setter. Drop it into a provision basket and the atmosphere changes immediately; place it in a camp kitchen and everything feels more believable. The “Willi” green cabbage is relatively compact for a cabbage, designed in a slightly squat shape that’s easy to place and looks convincing in use.

The surface features a structured leaf texture with characteristic light colouring, giving the model a three-dimensional, realistic appearance. Thanks to its manageable size, it works well on market stalls, in field kitchens, or in taverns—anywhere you want a clear “provisions and supplies” vibe without relying on real food.

The construction is designed to keep its form: the core is made of solid polystyrene and covered with a layer of foam. This helps “Willi” retain its shape while the outer layer provides a certain degree of cushioning. The model is primarily intended for decorative use. Due to its low mass and foam coating, a thrown cabbage is generally harmless; however, because of the firm core, “Willi” is only conditionally suitable as a throwing prop in LARP and should be used with appropriate care.
