Never go into battle before first tasting your favorite ale. That is the advice you would give any of your fellow Dwarves, for you never know when this may be your last fight.

You slam your Dwarf Single Edge sword onto the table as you await the finest dark ale you know. The tavern was quiet before you walked inside, tense with the anticipation of a coming war, but you are loud and bring life back to its walls. You raise a toast to the barkeep and to any nearby, granting them glory on the battlefield before drinking deeply from your mug.

It would be a true shame to leave this world while thirsty.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Unpainted Dwarf Sword Handle is a weapon with a detailed handle. The handle is being sold separate for your do-it-yourself project. The intricate crossguard connects the interesting blade to the 10 cm handle cast to look like real wood with metal embellishments. It arrives unpainted, so that you might add whatever detailing you wish.

Whether you are a dwarven soldier or simple miner, this Dwarf Sword Handle is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. Pair it with your own foam and latex blade, while benefitting from Epic Armoury’s reputation for detail. Made from a polyurethane foam cast, this handle requires no maintenance.

Directions for Use:

Paint the handle using paint specifically designed for polyurethane foam. We recommend using a primer, first. Create or buy one of our fibreglass core foam blades, leaving a core length that matches the handle. Allow the handle’s paint to completely dry before sliding the handle onto the exposed core of your blade and glue it in place. Allow the glue to dry completely before use--likely after 1-2 days.

Remember that most of the damage is done due to the lack of maintenance and bad storage.

Store your latex weapons flat or standing on their pommel - NEVER on the thrust (this will cause damage to the tip of the weapon, that’s not refunded)
Use a barrier made of paper or a towel to guard your weapon in contact with other plastic or rubber surface, so they won’t stick together.
Keep your weapon in a cool, dry area.
Avoid long time exposure to sunlight and don’t transport your weapons on top of your car luggage.
Remember about the maintenance, sprays work best for that.
