Heads of fallen foes that often were put on prominent display for all to see. Time and use have taken its toll on this once magnificent sword which is now bruised and aged, but by all means; it is still a trusty and fully functioning weapon, that gets the job done.

Epic Armoury’s Battleworn Celtic Leaf Sword is a latex-hybrid long sword inspired by the Celtic tribes of early history. The sword is 60, 85 or 100 cm long from tip to pommel, with a double-edged blade designed for chopping thanks to its leaf-like shape. The detailed crossguard and crescent pommel features gold accents and protects a sculpted grip. The handle is cast and painted to look like leather and is ergonomically shaped, allowing for comfort and an impressive appearance without requiring leather maintenance. Featuring unique painted and sculpted detail effects such as rust stains, nicks and scratches.

The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. History

Similar in shape to a Scottish thrusting dagger called a dirk.
Used as a personal sidearm by officers.
Leaf swords were designed to have more weight in the blade and work well cutting through targets.

Blade has a strong latex coating with a round fibreglass core.

Handle is very durable, will last longer than a latex version, and is less slippery than a silicone treated alternative.

Remember that most of the damage is done due to the lack of maintenance and bad storage.

Store your latex weapons flat or standing on their pommel - NEVER on the thrust (this will cause damage to the tip of the weapon, that’s not refunded)
Use a barrier made of paper or a towel to guard your weapon in contact with other plastic or rubber surface, so they won’t stick together.
Keep your weapon in a cool, dry area.
Avoid long time exposure to sunlight and don’t transport your weapons on top of your car luggage.
Remember about the maintenance, sprays work best for that.
