This here is a fighting knife. It might look bruised and worn out, but don’t let that fool you! Epic Armoury’s Battleworn Trench Knife is a latex-hybrid single-edged knife with an intricate knuckleduster handle. In length it resembles a short or medium sword richly detailed with traces of wear like rust and notches. The knife has a curved blade inspired by weapons of the First World War. The elaborate crossguard curves around the hand, providing a comfortable and protective grip for each individual finger, but also good for close quarter fighting where a punch might be just as effective as a slash. The handle is casted and painted to look like real wood with metal embellishments.

Whether you are a ruffian, a marred soldier or a post apocalyptic warrior, this Battleworn Trench Knife is our highest quality gear due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made from closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is a polyurethane foam cast that allows for greater detail and no maintenance. History

Style of knife was developed during the First World War to incapacitate soldiers in close quarters.
Some of the earliest knuckleduster styled knives were issued by the US Army during WWI, including the 1917 and 1918 Mark I trench knives.

Remember that most of the damage is done due to the lack of maintenance and bad storage.

Store your latex weapons flat or standing on their pommel - NEVER on the thrust (this will cause damage to the tip of the weapon, that’s not refunded)
Use a barrier made of paper or a towel to guard your weapon in contact with other plastic or rubber surface, so they won’t stick together.
Keep your weapon in a cool, dry area.
Avoid long time exposure to sunlight and don’t transport your weapons on top of your car luggage.
Remember about the maintenance, sprays work best for that.
